“And I’m Up” is the latest video from A Place To Bury Strangers. The clip was directed by Karl Ackermann, brother of APTBS guitarist/vocalist Oliver Ackermann. Says Karl, “For me ‘And I’m Up’ is about coming of age. Burning toys seemed like it’d be an apt metaphor, fun and easy to shoot, and cool to look at. My idea was to create what I called an Action Figure Destruction Derby, an ultraviolent toy commercial, a non-CGI Toy Story 4: Battle Royale.” The song is off Worship (Dead Oceans).
