XL is issuing Vampire Weekend’s third album, Modern Vampires Of The City, on May 7. The band will tour in support beginning in March with a date at SXSW … Rilo Kiley has announced the April 2 release of RKives (Little Record Company), a collection of the group’s previously unreleased tracks, b-sides and rarities spanning its decade-long career … More Than Just A Dream is the new album from Fitz And The Tantrums, due out May 7 via Elektra … On May 28, John Fogerty’s Wrote A Song For Everyone will be available via Vanguard … The fifth solo album by Rob Zombie, Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor, will be issued by his new label, Zodiac Swan (through T-Boy/UMe), on April 23 … Temporary Residence Ltd. will release the first new Eluvium album in three years, the two-disc Nightmare Ending, on May 14 … House On Fire is a collection of studio rarities and demos recorded between 1992-1998 by the Jeff Healey Band, set for release from Eagle on February 26 … The London Suede’s sixth studio album, Bloodsports, will be out March 19 on Ingrooves/Fontana … Jenn Wasner of Wye Oak and John Ehrens of White Life have teamed up to form Dungeonesse, whose self-titled debut will be available from Secret Canadian on May 14 … The first two albums from Steve Forbert, Alive On Arrival and Jackrabbit Slim, have been repackaged as a two-disc set complete with bonus tracks. It’s out March 26 via Blue Corn Music … Backbeat is a new play based on the Beatles’ Hamburg years, and it’s just made its U.S. debut in Los Angeles. The cast recording—which includes 20 songs, including versions of “Twist And Shout,” “Love Me Do” and “I Saw Her Standing There”—is out now from Rhino …  The 1981 debut album from Big Boys, Where’s My Towel/Industry Standard, will be reissued by Light In The Attic’s Modern Classics imprint on March 5.
