The 25th anniversary of R.E.M.’s 1988 album Green will be celebrated with a two-disc deluxe edition via Rhino. Out May 14, it includes the remastered LP along with an entire disc of live tracks recorded during the band’s 1989 tour … Anastasis, the most recent work from Dead Can Dance, will be released as a deluxe live edition on April 22. The band will continue its year-old world tour with a just-announced show in London in July … TUK TUK Records will issue Dengue Fever’s lost 2009 album, In The Ley Lines, on March 26 … Os Mutantes has recently announced its signing with Krian Music Group, which will release new album Fool Metal Jack on April 30. The band will tour the U.S. this spring … The second solo album from the Beta Band’s Steve Mason, Monkey Minds In The Devil’s Time, will be out via Double Six on April 9 … On June 11, Smith Westerns will issue third album Soft Will via Mom + Pop. Prior to the release, the band will play Coachella in April … The Bobby Whitlock Story: Where There’s A Will, There’s A Way is a single-CD collection of Bobby Whitlock’s first two solo albums, which feature appearances from George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Delaney & Bonnie and more. It’s set for a June release via Light In The Attic … The first double-CD chronology by Midnight Oil, Essential Oils, is due out from Columbia/Legacy on April 30. It contains 36 songs handpicked by the band, spanning its entire career … Blue Corn Music will reissue two Steve Forbert albums, Alive In Arrival and Jackrabbit Slim, together March 26 … Paul Anka’s 55th anniversary as a musician will be commemorated April 9 with the release of Duets (Legacy), a collection of collaborations with the likes of George Benson, Michael McDonald, Dolly Parton, Michael Jackson, Willie Nelson and many more.
