Chicago psych/prog machine CAVE is back with new album Threace (Drag City), which would sound at home in a blaxploitation movie or any ’70s sex scene, but in a surprisingly good way. Wah-wah pedals, repetition and sax define this batch of songs. Check out the trippy, ultrasound-looking video, directed by Nick Ciontea, for groovy jam “Shikaakwa.”
