Vintage is in vogue in Bill Callahan‘s video for “Small Plane,” off Dream River (Drag City). This silent film is cute and goofy, but it does have a spin-chilling bible reference and some cool old-timey lingo. (Why don’t people still say “fiddlebows” when frustrated anymore?)
