The Pixies aren’t the same with out Kim Deal, and it seems like they didn’t take kindly to her leaving. “What Goes Boom,” as the title hints, is guitar-heavy thrasher. It sounds less like ’80s indie and more like angry hard rock that’s inspired by “a girl who plays bass.” The video, on the other hand, is inspired by Star Wars. Watch it below.
