The Brooklyn-/Berlin-based duo of Jesse Barnes and Yvonne Ambrée has come together to create Take Berlin. The band’s debut, Lionize EP, is out now. “Sebastian” is the second single off the record. The song was influenced by Jose Saramago novel The Year Of The Death Of Ricardo Reis. Says Ambrée. “In the story, the protagonist is visited by the ghost of poet Fernando Pessoa. This magic-realism struck a chord in me as I began to consider the ‘ghosts’ that visit us from time to time—cultural ghosts as well as those from our own personal history.” Download “Sebastian” below.
