Aziza & The Cure, a self-described “symphonic soul-pop” group founded by Joelle Britt and Bradley Rouen, is set to issue its crowd-funded debut album, Through All Our Fears, this month. “Release Me,” the first single, is an example of the band’s ability to challenege listeners’ expectations by shifting from syncopated guitar riffs to melancholic violin breaks.
