Adia Victoria is currently on the road in support of excellent and powerful new album Silences (Canvasback). The Nashville-based, blues-leaning singer/songwriter and band hit Philadelphia’s Johnny Brenda’s for the second night of the tour (with Joshua Asante of Amasa Hines opening), and MAGNET photographer Chris Sikich was there to enjoy the Silences. Says Sikich, “It was my fifth time seeing her. Every time something new is revealed, as she unleashes her 21st century blues.”
