Three’s Company: Radiator Hospital, Outer Spaces And Yowler Come Together In Philadelphia For An Amazing Triple Bill

As far as ridiculously hot, late-summer Wednesday nights go, you could do a lot worse than this three-band bill at Philly’s Johnny Brenda’s. Radiator Hospital was promoting recent album Sings “Music For Daydreaming” (Salinas), which frontman Sam Cook-Parrott wrote and recorded all by his lonesome. Gazing Globe (Western Vinyl) is the latest from Baltimore’s Outer Spaces, a vehicle for Cara Beth Satalino to share her smart pop songs with the indie world. Yowler is a side project that turned into the main band of hometown hero Maryn Jones, whose excellent Black Dog In My Path (Double Double Whammy) came out last year. MAGNET photographer Chris Sikich was at the show, feeling the brotherly and sisterly love.
