If and when we ever grow up, we want to be Scott McCaughey. For the past four decades, this Amerindie treasure has collaborated with all those listed above. And many more. McCaughey suffered a life-threatening stroke in 2017 and came back with the Minus 5’s Stroke Manor—possibly his best work to date—two years later. His most recent release is the No Ones’ The Great Lost No Ones Album (Yep Roc), which teams McCaughey up yet again with his pal Peter Buck, along with Frode Strømstad (I Was A King) and Arne Kjelsrud Mathisen (Heroes & Zeros).
