While it would’ve been easy for Tim Burgess to take some time off from music given the current state of the world, coupled with the fact his father passed away in April, the Charlatans frontman has instead done the opposite. He just released fifth solo album I Love The New Sky (Bella Union), while a deluxe reissue of sophomore Charlatans LP Between 10th And 11th is out this week via Beggars Arkive. Burgess has also been hosting the popular Tim’s Twitter Listening Party three times a night, connecting not only with fans but other musicians as well while listening to and discussing classic albums from the rock ‘n’ roll era. All this from a man who once sang he can’t get out of bed.
