On October 10, the almighty GWAR played two hometown, drive-in shows. The scumdogs of the universe did the depraved deed in the parking lot of The Diamond, the ballpark that’s home to the Richmond Flying Squirrels, the Virginia city’s double-A baseball team. And since this is bizzaro-world 2020, there were a couple new twists to the musical theater that is GWAR: You had to stay in or next to your car, Mother Nature assisted in the blood-and-guts cleanup by providing unlimited rain, and the band killed Dr. Fauci onstage.
