35 years ago today, five of the top 50 songs on the Billboard singles chart featured current/former members of Genesis: Mike + The Mechanics’ “All I Need Is A Miracle” (#6), Phil Collins’ “Take Me Home” (#18), Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” (#39), GTR’s “When The Heart Rules The Mind” (#40) and Genesis’ “Invisible Touch” (#45). Surprisingly, nothing off of Anthony Phillips’ Private Parts And Pieces VI: Ivory Moon made the chart.
