Japanese Breakfast just completed a string of five sold-out shows at Union Transfer in support of new album Jubilee (Dead Oceans). Michelle Zauner and Co.’s final UT show was broadcast live via WXPN and NPR, but these photos are from the opening night of the residency. For the first three performances, Japanese Breakfast was joined by fellow hometown heroes Mannequin Pussy, whose debut LP for Epitaph, Patience, was also just released. The capacity crowd was in such heaven during this Philly Special.
