Mere days before she won the Mercury Prize for debut album Collapsed In Sunbeams (Transgressive), Arlo Parks wowed the crowd at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. The 21-year-old British singer/poet is on tour the rest of the year, and she’s one you don’t want to miss. MAGNET photographer Wes Orshoski, who shot these images, calls Parks his favorite pandemic-era discovery, an artist whose music, both live and on record, is “hypnotic, delicate, funky—just so much vibe.”
