Archaic as it seems, my landline is still unplugged in 2023, almost 40 years after writing this song. I never did get a cell phone, and I’m endlessly grateful that when I do leave home, no one can get a hold of me. The other great part of this equation is that no one is trying to get a hold of me. Bliss.
