60 years ago today, the Beatles had the top five songs on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart: “Can’t Buy Me Love” (#1), “Love Me Do” (#2), “Roll Over Beethoven” (#3), “I Want To Hold Your Hand” (#4) and “Please Please Me” (#5). They also had nine others songs on the chart as well: The Fab Fourteen. In 2021, Drake tied the Beatles’ top-five record, though a little more than a year later, Taylor Swift obliterated it when she was responsible for all of the top-10 songs on the Hot 100 chart. That’s some vigilante shit.
