The protesters in David’s gorgeous drawing glow a rosy hue encroached on by a murky mire of an ominous darkened blue. With a General Strike T-shirt in the mix, we know which side they’re on, but their more specific orbits hadn’t collided until they met, here, on the White House lawn.
