In saying that the way men talk about women, denigrate women, goes way back to ancient times, we may, in our minds, create a timeline on which things gradually improved, but there sure has been a lot of talk of late that smacks of a return to those ancient fires where men rally around and defend the subjugation, exploitation and abuse of women.
