As I mentioned in my comment on you Top 20 post, there were 16 records on your list that I haven’t heard, so having only one vote doesn’t really get the job done. MY ego wants me to believe that if I haven’t heard the record, then it mustn’t be that good, so I would need 16 votes, actaually 17 because I really, really disliked Embryonic, that wasn’t my cup o’ tea.
However, I voted for The Aliens because I have their previous record and was terribly disappointed with it. In retrospect, I’m thinking I should have voted for Pissed Jeans, I can’t even make it through one fo their songs…
With 81 votes in, I do have to say it is interesting that the two more popular titles on the list (Flaming Lips and Dirty Projectors) have recieved the most votes.
