Tricky returns October 5 with Mixed Race (Domino). “Murder Weapon,” a reworking of a dancehall hit by Echo Minott, is the album’s first single. Mixed Race was produced by Tricky in Paris and includes guest appearances by Irish-Italian singer Frankey Riley, Jamaican singer Terry Lynn, Primal Scream mainman Bobby Gillespie, lutist/vocalist Hakim Hamadouche, vocalist Blackman and Marlon Thaws, who is one of Tricky’s 14 siblings. “Murder Weapon” features Riley on vocals, and its video was directed by Fleur & Manu.
