Film At 11: Phosphorescent

You’d think Phosphorescent (a.k.a. Matthew Houck) would be sick of Willie Nelson by now. After releasing tribute album To Willie (Dead Oceans) in the spring, the band was invited to play at Nelson’s 76th birthday celebration, then share a stage with him at Farm Aid. But Houck’s admiration for the country star is still going strong, as he recently played Nelson’s “The Last Thing I Needed (First Thing This Morning)” alongside his own “At Death, A Proclamation” on KEXP during The Morning Show.
