The Woodsist label has become the place for great lo-fi rock and psych records (Kurt Vile, Psychedelic Horseshit, Ganglians, Vivian Girls, Wavves), so it makes sense it recently signed terrific Portland, Ore., band Eat Skull. The duo’s first release for Woodsist, which follows last year’s solid Wild And Inside (on Siltbreeze), is Jerusalem Mall. The three-track seven-inch single features “Don’t Leave Me On The Speaker,” a fuzzed-up, ’60s-garage-pop tune that is an outtake from Eat Skull’s 2008 debut, Sick To Death.
