Longtime MAGNET faves (and former guest editors) the Meat Puppets are back April 12 with 13th studio LP Lollipop (Megaforce). The dozen-track album was produced by frontman Curt Kirkwood at Spoon’s HiFi Studio in Austin and proves the trio is as relevant as ever. Speaking of Austin, the band has four SXSW shows lined up, including one today at La Zona Rosa and one Saturday backing the legendary Roky Erickson at the Austin Music Hall.
