The quirky pop music made by Oakland punk Seth Bogart (ex-Gravy Train!!!!) conjures pastel, malt-shop visions of ’60s romance, slow dances and beehives. Too Young To Be In Love (Hardly Art) is the first proper album from Bogart’s latest project, Hunx And His Punx. The 10-song LP’s title track thematically channels classic tearjerkers like Dion And The Belmonts’ “A Teenager In Love,” while opener “Lovers Lane” adds bassist Shannon Shaw’s soulful backing croons.
