Release The Sunbird (Bob Pollard reference?) is Rogue Wave’s Zach Rogue, and Come Back To Us is the first record by this new project. The LP is out July 26 on the Brushfire label and features tracks Rogue recorded in Bloomington, Ind., at a friend’s studio with a band consisting of drummer Pete Shreiner, bassist/vocalist Kenny Childers and vocalist Kate Long. Release The Sunbird will be touring in support of Come Back To Us, but in the meantime, download “Always Like The Son” below, and read our 2005 feature on Rogue Wave.
