Living Things is the creation of three St. Louis brothers who have been playing and recording in their parents’ basement since they were in elementary school. A band that’s been called everything from punk to psychedelic to Buddy Holly-esque, Living Thing isn’t interested in the typical, proven by the fact that the trio’s first concert was in a cave near the Meramac River. Cave music aside, the boys have an infectious, fast-paced groove that is impossible to ignore. “Fake It Baby, Fake It (La Dame Nature)” is the first single from Living Things’ upcoming EP. Great rock and roll song.. great musicianship..great riffs.. all deserving of a much better producer/production sound. Not sure how one might achieve that , but a good word to the wise… trumps many lies.. I love you guys. Definately will be on my ipod as part of my work out music… buddy Holly? eeehh.
