Shot in the historic Boulevard Recording Studio in Hollywood with a handheld camera, Robert Francis‘ new video for “Eighteen” is undeniably intimate. The singer’s gentle voice and longing lyrics seem to reach out to the viewer, in a deeper fashion than initially expected. Indeed, aside from mics and their respective amps, Francis’ guitar lacks any other accoutrements at all; this is some old-world-style stuff, and it shouldn’t be any other way.
