Ben Folds Five has invited fans to participate in the promotion of its new album with an interactive pre-sale campaign on PledgeMusic. Those who do so will receive exclusive videos, tracks, photos and blogs, and will be among the first to receive the new album. Throughout the campaign, Ben Folds Five will also be raising awareness and funds for Music Education and Music Therapy …  New collective JJAMZ, formed by members of Rilo Kiley, Bright Eyes, Maroon 5, Phantom Planet and the Like, will release debut album Suicide Pact on July 10 via Dangerbird … Carry Me Back is the fourth album from Old Crow Medicine Show, due out via ATO Records on July 17. The band kicks off a U.S. tour in support of the release on June 30 … The very first career-spanning retrospective of Heart, Strange Euphoria, will be issued on June 5 on Epic/Legacy. Curated by Ann and Nancy Wilson, Strange Euphoria contains three discs and one DVD as a deluxe boxed set, featuring the band’s hits as well as rarities, demos and live performances … Real Gone Music will keep the flow of reissues coming on June 26, with releases from the Electric Prunes, Timi Yuro, the New Christy Minstrels, the Tokens and Rita Pavone … On June 19, Charlie Daniels Band’s performance at Germany’s Rockpalast in 1980 will be available for the first time on DVD and CD via MVD … Sixpence None The Richer has reunited to bring us its first album in 10 years, Lost On Transition, due out August 7 … Ribbon Music will release a 16-song CD of songs by John Maus on July 16. A Collection Of Rarities And Previously Unreleased Material contains music spanning 11 years, and the LP version will be limited to a one-time pressing of 3,000 hand-numbered copies … Ascent, the electric, full-band album from Six Organs Of Admittance, is out August 21 via Drag City … The as-yet-untitled new release from Rival Sons has been completed, and will see the light of day this August courtesy of Earache.
