Mree’s second self-produced album, Winterwell, is a passionate blend of heartfelt acoustic folk and plush electronic textures, brought to life by her rich, multi-layered vocals. Mree’s lush harmonies float in and out of the mix like perfumed clouds, drawing you into a dizzying swirl of muted colors and ambiguous emotions. Armed with a guitar and an effects pedal that allows her to loop her vocals into an ever-shifting collage of sound, Mree is able to reproduce most of the album when she plays live. Mree: I tried out this recipe last year while watching over a family friend’s farm, and the house smelled wonderfully of cinnamon. It takes a bit of time and patience setting the dough and waiting for it to rise (as required by most bread recipes), but if you’ve got the time and are looking for a sweet recipe to try, give it a go! Tastes like a Cinnabon, but not as overly sugary sweet. Great with coffee in the morning, snack or dessert.

Where I’m from, we call this monkey bread! We shape the bread dough into balls and pile them onto each other in a great mound. It’s a really fun dessert!
