“Only In Wisconsin!” is this craft brewery‘s slogan. That’s true, mostly. A couple years ago, I caught wind of a story someone had “smuggled” a couple kegs of their flagship beer, Spotted Cow, into a Wisconsin bar in NYC. The culprits were quickly apprehended and fined. Of course, I can’t speak for New Glarus, but the real reason Spotted Cow and most other craft beers are confined by state lines is a strong beer lobby designed to keep macros, well, macro.
