Film At 11: Ezra Furman

Taking on the issue of gender roles, Ezra Furman introduces the new video for “Body Was Made.” In a small club, women dress up as men, and men dress up as women. The onlookers wear an extensive amount of makeup, and a panel of judges rate the band’s performance with signs that show “666” and have glued toy animals to paddles. Furman exercises a belief that no one should be labeled. Check out the kooky clip below.
