Al Green Brings Love And Happiness To Radio City Music Hall

“All you guys out there tryin’ to act like Al Green/You’re all weak” —Low, “Witches”

The Reverend. The Soul Man. The Rock And Roll Hall Of Famer. The one and only Al Green delivered his gospel this week at Radio City Music Hall. Aside from his trademark “Let’s Stay Together,” “Love And Happiness,” “I’m Still In Love With You” and “Tired Of Being Alone,” the 73-year-old Green covered Otis Redding, the Four Tops, Bee Gees, Kris Kristofferson and others during his 17-song set. MAGNET photographer Wes Orshoski was there for this rare Green live performance, and his heart was in good hands.
