Two Matchsticks (Barsuk) is the latest release from the Wooden Birds, and the Andrew Kenny-led band is currently out on tour supporting it. MAGNET fave Matt Pond is now part of the group, which is also performing songs from Kenny’s previous outfit, the late, great American Analog Set. Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard recently joined the Wooden Birds onstage in L.A. to sing Two Matchsticks track “Warm To The Blade,” just like he does on the record.
